4. Use of Cookies
LACERDA may, by its own means or through a third party contracted to provide measurement services, use cookies when the User browses the Site.
Cookies are files sent to the browser via a web server, in order to record the User's activities during their browsing time.
The cookies used by the Site are associated solely with an anonymous User and their computer, and therefore do not, in themselves, provide the User's personal data.
Through the use of cookies, it is possible for the server hosting the Site to recognise the User's web browser, so that browsing is simpler, allowing, for example, Users who have previously registered to access the areas, services, promotions or contests reserved exclusively for them, without having to register on each new visit.
They are also used to measure audience and traffic parameters, as well as to monitor the evolution and number of visits.
The User has the option to configure their browser so as to be notified of the receipt of cookies, and to prevent them from being installed on their device. Please consult your browser's instructions and manuals for further information.
To use the Site it is not necessary for the User to allow the installation of the cookies sent by the Site; however, it will probably be necessary for the User to log in as such, in each of the services whose use requires prior registration or "login".
