Not only as my first collection, but as the moment I decided to question how women relate to what they wear in their most intimate space. Over time, I noticed a recurring inconsistency: many women care for their appearance when they go out, yet relax that attention when they are at home. Comfort becomes the excuse for letting go of that care, as if the private space did not deserve the same presence.
This collection was created to challenge that idea. The way we dress when no one is watching says a great deal about the relationship we have with ourselves.
The Origin was created to remove this division. There is no reason for there to be one woman outside and another inside. Identity does not change when crossing a door, and clothing should not have to change either.
I began this collection with a simple question:
"How can I create pieces that move with a woman at her own pace, without demanding performance, yet without sacrificing aesthetics?"
The answer was clarity. Reduce excess. Work only with the essential. Create few pieces, but carefully considered ones, that function as a coherent system. The four pieces of the collection - trousers, a robe, a long top and a slip dress - were designed to work together, while also standing on their own. They can be worn separately or together, at home or outside, always with the same intention.
The choice of fabrics was central from the beginning. Chiffon brings lightness and breathability, allowing movement without rigidity. Satin brings fluidity, a soft structure, and a quiet presence. Both were chosen for the way they respond to the body, not for trend. Each fabric follows the gesture, rather than controlling it.
The colours emerged naturally: white and black. White represents clarity and beginning - a clean, conscious base. Black represents depth and focus - a quiet strength, without drama. Together they create balance. Neither imposes itself. Neither distracts.
In the details, the intention was always functional and honest. French seams for durability and a clean finish. Delicate hems to preserve lightness. Adjustable straps and belts in the same fabric for true adaptation to the body. Nothing decorative without purpose. Everything designed to serve the woman, not to call attention.
The Origin does not seek to create characters or “special” moments. It was designed for real everyday life: to stay at home, to step outside without changing clothes, to live with continuity. It is a collection about alignment - between comfort and aesthetics, between inside and outside, between what is felt and what is worn.
This is the beginning of Lacerda. And above all, it is an invitation for women to return to their centre, with presence, intention, and coherence.
